ROCKET’s powerful Purchase Orders/Customer Orders module takes all the effort out of stock receipting/data entry by automating the importing and entering of monthly stock orders placed through your group head office or through a wholesaler. Rental and retail purchase orders can either be imported from head office after the monthly rental and retail order is completed via your head office system, or entered at store level for emailing or faxing to the supplier. Email direct from ROCKET! The Purchase Orders module also links with the All Interactive Distribution order system. If you're an "Electronic Invoicing" customer with AID, just choose "ROCKET format", and the work's done for you!

VideoSource Select movie database interface

"All the movies, all the stars, now inside Rocket!"

ROCKET’s brand new movie database interface now allows you to access the VideoSource Select movie information directly from inside ROCKET. Have all the movie details inside your Product file – for rental and retail products - linked to titles already in your store or upcoming new releases. And keep it all up to date with the twice-monthly VSS subscription service provided by Trade Service of Australia (Initial database load may also need to be purchased from TSA.).

The ROCKET movie database interface module enables ROCKET to read and display the VideoSource Select movie database, which must be purchased from the database compiler, Trade Service of Australia. The database can be purchased as an initial load of some 30,000 titles (ideal for a new store) and/or as a twice-monthly update service.

PHOTOCHEK MEMBER ID

HAVING a sure fire way to identify exactly who is hiring your movies or games is a powerful deterrent against theft or fraud. ROCKET’s optional PHOTOCHEK Member ID module lets you take digital photographs of every renter and store them on your hard disk alongside your membership files.

Just needs a camera
Member ID is completely integrated into your ROCKET in-store system; all it requires is a simple USB webcam to trap customer photos, either at join-up or for any current member. When a customer is served in ROCKET (either by scanning the barcode on a member card or typing in the member number), Member ID interrogates its photographic database and displays a photograph of the member.

Family memberships
Family memberships are easily handled by Member ID’s ability to store upto five photographs per membership; when a family member is served, Member ID will scroll through the five photographs on file, or they can be advanced manually.

Typical installation
In a typical setup only one webcam is required for taking the photographs, although all serving screens display them. If necessary, each screen can have its own webcam. Taking a photo is quick and easy, and multiple photos can be taken in quick succession, with the best being saved for display. Photographs can be deleted and retaken at any time, and member details, debts and photographs can be printed or emailed for record-keeping or debt collection.

Full transaction details
Saved on your computer’s hard disk, each photograph is linked to the transaction with full details of what was hired, returned or bought, and the date and time.

And the photographs are easy to access; view them on screen when enquiring on late items or unpaid overdue fees or from a member’s history, and when calling for overdues. Photos are compressed, and automatically deleted after a set time.

Print out, email for debt collection
Plus for debt collection purposes, ROCKET allows you to print the photo on a special form showing the member’s details and full details of the transaction. And it can also be emailed.

A camera that supports the Twain interface is all that’s required for each serving screen. Even better, a face tracking camera makes it easier to get a good photo of the member’s face.

Overdue Letters Module

It’s the quickest, easiest and most cost-effective method of getting out overdue letters to those persistent late renters!

Comes with three different letters:

An initial reminder to return overdue items
A follow up letter
A letter of final demand

And so easy to operate: just click on the icon, enter the number of days overdue, and ROCKET will read its database and automatically print out a letter for each member who has overdues within the day range selected.

All letters show details of the items outstanding, and ROCKET calculates and prints the extended fee due as at the date of the letter. And they print with the name and address in the correct position for a window-faced envelope. So, save time and costs on label printing!

Debts Letters Module

Sick of paying debt collection fees? Now ROCKET gives you an easy way to chase debts yourself before handing those bad payers over to a debt collection agency.

ROCKET’s Debts Letters Module contains two separate debt letters – one, firm but gentle, the other warning of further action over the debt owed.

And they’re so simple and easy to use. Just enter:

The debt balance range,
The last active date range, and
The payment date range

Click on the icon, ROCKET will read its database and automatically print out a letter for each member who falls within the ranges selected.

Letters can be designed to print with your store logo and company details, and we can customise the words to suit your store.
